There are many websites that are helpful for former believers
who have left the LDS Church, or members who are considering doing so –– or people who are simply curious about
Mormonism. Following are some of the sites I have found especially useful:
Recovery from Mormonism...Includes more than 600 personal stories by ex-Mormons, plus many articles relating to problems with Mormon doctrines
and practices, and helpful advice for those making the transition out of the church. Founded by Eric Kettunen
in 1995, it is the oldest and most extensive ex-Mormon website.

Post-Mormon Community...” A
site for people who want to keep all the good that came into their lives through Mormonism, but be open about its misrepresentations...”
Emphasis is on forming
and maintaining local groups of former Mormons who can meet to share the experiences of transitioning from Mormonism to a
“post-Mormon” phase of their life.

New Order Mormons...”New Order Mormons are those who no longer believe some (or much) of the dogma or doctrines
of the LDS Church, but who want to maintain membership for cultural, social, or even spiritual reasons. New Order Mormons
recognize both good and bad in the Church, and have determined that the Church does not have to be perfect in order to remain
useful. New Order Mormons seek the middle way to be Mormon.”
